A pay-per-result alternative to Venice AI
If what you want from Venice is the generation itself — not the subscription that comes with it — LivePair is built the other way around: no monthly plan, per-result prices quoted before you run, and private video at half their advertised clip price.
No subscription wall
Venice's entry tier is a monthly subscription — you commit before you generate a single image. LivePair has no subscription at all: a $5 credit top-up is the entire buy-in, and every model lists its exact price per result before you run it.
For anyone generating a few dozen images or clips a month, the math isn't close: a month of casual use here costs less than one month of a subscription elsewhere — and the credits never expire.
Use it without an account
Every generation surface also answers on an open API: send a request, pay per call in USDC on Base, get your result — no signup, no email, no card on file. It's the only path of its kind for private generation: point an agent at /docs/mcp and it can onboard itself.
Prefer an account? An lp_ API key bills the same calls against prepaid credits instead.
Video is where the gap shows
Venice advertises roughly 80 credits — about $0.80 — per ~5-second clip on its featured video models. A 5-second 720p clip on LivePair's private image-to-video line runs about $0.40 — half the price — and dropping to 480p or muting audio cuts it under $0.20. Images start around four cents a result.
If video is the workload, per-result pricing isn't a convenience — it's most of the bill. High-res and premium tiers exist here too, but the price is quoted before you run, so nothing surprises you at the end.
The honest trade
What Venice sells for a flat monthly fee — generous image allowances, bundled extras — genuinely wins if you generate at maximum volume every single day. LivePair wins the other 95% of use: you never pay for capacity you didn't use, your generations don't land in a community feed, and the private model line covers the creative range the mainstream apps won't carry.
