Using your phone as the AI's camera

The LivePair machine doesn't need a dedicated camera — your phone is better than most webcams anyway. DroidCam bridges it over Wi-Fi for free.

Setup in five minutes

Install DroidCam on your phone (App Store / Play Store) and the PC client from dev47apps.com. Same Wi-Fi network, copy the device IP into the client, hit Start — your phone is now a webcam.

Why a phone camera matters

A laptop webcam sees your face. A phone on the desk sees the *work* — the wiring, the solder joint, the part label. Screen-aware AI plus a real camera angle is how the assistant stops guessing about your physical setup.
