Creator program
LivePair pays creators a share of the paid usage their work drives. Publish a prompt card, share it, and a fixed share of every paid run on that card accrues to your balance automatically — no application, no review, no minimum audience.
The program page is livepairai.com/creators. This document is the operating manual: how to publish, how distribution and attribution work, how earnings accrue and pay out, and the exact rules.
How money moves
paid generation on your card ──► accrual (pending, hold period)
│ refund before release → canceled
▼
payable ──► payout batch (auto, over minimum)
│
▼
earned credits on your balance
A charge pays out once. Spend attributed to a card pays the card's creator; all other spend by a user you referred pays you the referral share. The two never stack on one charge.
Before you begin
- A LivePair account — sign up with Google at livepairai.com/auth/sign-up. Your handle is your public creator identity and your referral tag.
- Publishing a card registers you automatically. There is nothing to apply for.
Step 1 — Publish a card
Two ways in:
- From the studio. Generate on a public model at /studio, then publish the result. The card mints with your prompt, the model, and the output attached.
- From outside. Upload a result you made anywhere at /hub/submit with the verbatim prompt — a card does not have to originate on LivePair to earn on LivePair.
Both paths pass automated screening before the card appears. Once published, the card is live in the gallery and readable by AI agents over the public MCP endpoint (/mcp).
Step 2 — Distribute
Every share surface carries attribution automatically:
- Copy the card link — links copied from your card or profile append
?ref=<your id>— no setup. - Embed the card — the Embed button on a card page produces an iframe snippet (
/hub/<id>/embed) with media, the prompt, your name, and a Run-this link that carries your?ref. oEmbed discovery is on the card page, so pasting the URL into oEmbed-aware editors works too. - Referral capture — a
?refclick on any page stamps a 30-daylp_refcookie. First touch wins: an existing cookie is never overwritten. A sign-up within that window binds the referral to you permanently (immutable first-touch row).
Step 3 — Earn
| Share | Rate | Window | Trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage share | 10% of the charge | unlimited | A paid generation runs on your published card |
| Referral share | 10% of their spend | 12 months from sign-up | A user you referred spends on anything that isn't a card run |
What counts as a paid run: a generation launched from your card's Create or Run this action by another signed-in user whose account has made a real purchase. Self-runs and self-referrals don't count, and spend by users on granted or comped balances accrues nothing — that's what keeps farming unprofitable.
Accrual lifecycle
Every attributable paid event writes one accrual row. Statuses, in order:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
pending | Accrued, inside the 30-day hold window (covers refunds and fraud review) |
payable | Hold cleared; counts toward your next payout batch |
paid | Paid out — attached to a payout batch |
canceled | Reversed before release (refund or fraud) |
Refunds after release write a negative accrual (a clawback row) so your balance absorbs the reversal — refunded spend never pays out.
Step 4 — Get paid
| Term | Value |
|---|---|
| Frequency | Automatic batch, runs every 15 minutes |
| Minimum | $30 payable balance |
| Method | Earned credits on your LivePair balance today |
| Monthly cap | $500 per creator while the program is young |
External rails — PayPal, then dollar-denominated stablecoins — are the documented direction for payout; see the token paper. Earned balances are tracked in USD and stay rail-neutral.
Tiers
Tiers are automatic — nobody reviews or selects you. One axis: cumulative paid runs on your cards.
| Tier | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Creator | 1 published card |
| Proven | 10 paid runs |
| Pro | 100 paid runs |
| Elite | 500 paid runs |
The same number ranks your cards in the gallery — likes, views, and shares are displayed but never decide rank.
Rules that protect the rate
- Only spend by users who have purchased accrues — comped, granted, or earned balances never generate creator revenue.
- A charge never pays out twice: card runs pay the card's creator, other referred spend pays the referrer.
- Self-runs on your own cards and self-referrals are excluded.
- Refunds claw back their accruals, including already-paid ones.
Where to check things
| Surface | What it shows |
|---|---|
| /creator | Balances, next release date, payout history, per-card paid runs, tier progress |
| /billing | The earnings panel — pending → payable → paid |
| Card page | Public stats plus the share/embed tools |
Common questions
Do I need LivePair traffic to earn? No — your own audience works. Embed a card on your site or share the link; runs through it still accrue to you.
Can I publish work made elsewhere? Yes — upload the result with the verbatim prompt at /hub/submit.
What stops someone running their own card to farm? Every run costs real credits; paying $1 to earn $0.10 is a losing trade, and self-runs are excluded anyway.
Do published cards expire? No — a card earns for as long as it stays published and runnable.
What happens on a refund? The accrual is canceled before release, or clawed back with a negative row after it.
