CLI
The livepair package puts the
agent API on your command line: browse the live model catalog, generate
images and video (async jobs are polled automatically), and save results
to disk. Generations bill against your prepaid credit balance — see
API keys.
npm i -g livepair
livepair login # opens livepairai.com → API keys, validates your key live
livepair models # catalog grouped by type, cached 1h
livepair run z-image/turbo -p "a neon koi fish circling a moon" --download koi.png
livepair run <video-model> -p "storm timelapse" -i duration=5 -i resolution=1080p
Commands
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
livepair login [key] | Browser + paste-key wizard, validates the key live |
livepair status / logout | Masked key + balance / clear stored key |
livepair models [query] | Live catalog, grouped by type, --type/--refresh/--json |
livepair run [model|alias] -p "…" | Generate; polls async jobs until done |
livepair aliases / init | List aliases / write a livepair.json stub |
livepair job <id> | Check a generation job |
livepair chat "…" [-m model] | Chat completion via /v1/chat/completions |
livepair balance | Credit balance |
livepair open [target] | Jump to dashboard / docs / models |
livepair skill install | Drop SKILL.md for coding agents |
run options: -i key=value for any model input (aspectRatio,
duration, resolution, imageSize, …), -i image=@./file.png for
local-file inputs, --download [path] to save output, --json for raw
responses. livepair.json supports defaultModel and named aliases
(model + input bundles) — livepair run hero -p "…" expands to the full
invocation.
LIVEPAIR_API_KEY and LIVEPAIR_API_URL override the saved config.
Agent use
livepair skill install writes .claude/skills/livepair/SKILL.md and
.agents/skills/livepair/SKILL.md, so Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode,
Codex, and Kimi Code can drive generation with shell commands — no MCP
server required. (The MCP server is also available for
hosts that prefer tools over shell.)
