LIVEPAIR AI — RIG HARDWARE MANUAL (plain text, agent-friendly) Canonical page: https://livepairai.com/hardware Updated: 2026-09-20 ================================================================ WHAT THIS IS ================================================================ LivePair AI is a real-time AI copilot for live sessions. Software isn't enough — it runs on a physical machine: a second screen, a pad mount, a silent GIM6010-8 drive motor, and wireless control from your laptop. Buy the off-the-shelf parts below, print the custom mounts from our STEP files, and assemble in an afternoon. ================================================================ BILL OF MATERIALS ================================================================ Format: part | qty | purpose | est. price | buy links 1. Buy once, import the STEP files into Bambu Studio (or your slicer), and print on your own printer. Includes 2D engineering drawings. Buy: https://livepairai.com/hardware Already purchased: https://livepairai.com/download NO 3D PRINTER? Order the parts printed — upload the STEP files to any print-on-demand service. Ask for PETG or PLA+ with at least 30% infill (the motor mount carries load). - Craftcloud (global, compares vendors): https://craftcloud3d.com/ - JLC3DP (global, low cost): https://jlc3dp.com/ - PCBWay (global): https://www.pcbway.com/rapid-prototyping/3d-printing/ - Hubs (US/EU): https://www.hubs.com/ - Xometry (US/EU/Asia): https://www.xometry.com/ - Treatstock (local print shops): https://www.treatstock.com/ - Weerg (Europe): https://www.weerg.com/ - MakeXYZ (US, local printers): https://www.makexyz.com/ ================================================================ ASSEMBLY ================================================================ 1. Print the STEP-file parts — the custom mounts that connect the motor to the machine. 2. Bolt the GIM6010-8 into its printed housing with M3 screws. 3. Press the 1/4" camera nuts into the clamp plate and attach the Leofoto PC-120 — the pad clamps in here. 4. Mount the 16" portable monitor on the VESA arm using the printed bracket. 5. Stand the Orange Pi Pico 2W on the M3 hex spacers and wire it to the motor driver. 6. Run the XT60 extension from the B6neo to the motor power input, splicing with Wago connectors. 7. Plug the 65W USB-C PD charger into the pad and laptop side. 8. Install DroidCam on your phone and PC — your phone is now the machine's webcam. ================================================================ POWER & WIRING — READ FIRST ================================================================ B6neo output -> XT60 -> GIM6010-8, spliced with Wago lever connectors on the power leads. The PD charger feeds the pad and laptop side. Keep the motor supply on its own line — do not share the USB rail. !! SAFETY — NEVER connect the gear motor directly to a battery. Direct battery hookup can throw a spark on contact. Always feed the GIM6010-8 through the B6neo, and read its manual before connecting anything. (We learned this the hard way — an AI told us it was fine. It wasn't. AI can die and come back. You can't.) ================================================================ SETUP GUIDES ================================================================ ORANGE PI PICO 2W — first boot 1. Download the Orange Pi OS / Armbian image for the Pico 2W from the official wiki (link below). 2. Flash it to a microSD card with balenaEtcher or Raspberry Pi Imager. 3. Boot the board, connect over USB-C or serial, and join it to your Wi-Fi (nmtui on Armbian). 4. Note the board's IP — the LivePair app talks to it over Wi-Fi to drive the motor. B6NEO — powering the motor 1. Read the SkyRC manual — the B6neo is a DC smart charger, not a plug-in adapter. 2. Feed the B6neo from a DC input or supported PD source per its spec sheet. 3. Set the output profile for your motor supply voltage before connecting the XT60 lead. 4. Only then connect the XT60 to the GIM6010-8 — never straight to a battery. GIM6010-8 — configuration 1. Grab the instruction manual and host tuning software from the SteadyWin page (below). 2. Connect the driver over UART/CAN per the manual and set the motor ID and limits. 3. Test at the lowest speed first — the gear reduction makes even crawl speed torquey. DROIDCAM — phone as webcam 1. Install DroidCam on your iPhone (App Store) or Android (Play Store), and the PC client from dev47apps.com. 2. Connect phone and laptop to the same Wi-Fi — or use USB. 3. Open the app, copy the device IP into the PC client, hit Start. 4. Select "DroidCam" as the camera inside LivePair. ================================================================ OFFICIAL MANUALS ================================================================ - GIM6010-8 — SteadyWin (manuals, firmware, tuning software): https://steadywin.cn/h-pd-115.html - B6neo — SkyRC instruction manual (PDF): https://www.skyrc.com/download/100198%20B6neo%20Instruction%20Manual%20V1.1_240318.pdf - Orange Pi — official wiki (OS images, pinouts, flashing): http://www.orangepi.org/orangepiwiki/ - DroidCam — downloads and setup: https://www.dev47apps.com/ ================================================================ PRODUCT & PRICING ================================================================ - Live sessions: $10/hour — pick 1 to 5 hours (launching soon). - Agent credits: pay-as-you-go top-ups from $5 — metered per token, crypto payments via NOWPayments. - Machine STEP files: $10 one-time. - Site: https://livepairai.com — llms.txt: https://livepairai.com/llms.txt
